Hello! We are so glad that you are here. Portland Professional Doula Associates LLC (PPDA) offers services to gently guide and pamper expectant families through the pregnancy and postpartum period.
Clients wishing to hire a Birth Doula will enjoy personal prenatal visits, either virtually or in person, designed to create and inspire confidence in you, the birthing person, and your labor partner. You’ll bask in the warmth of our nurturing presence and get all of your questions answered as you prepare for your own personal labor experience.
Our menu of premier boutique services includes Birth and Postpartum Doula care, Placenta medicine therapy, award-winning Lamaze® Certified Childbirth Education, Birthing From Within childbirth preparation, newborn care and breastfeeding classes, and Infant Craniosacral Therapy.

Birth Doula
Portland Professional Doula Associates are here to support you through pregnancy, birth and beyond. With our group prenatal visit model, you’ll have more time to get to know our Doulas as well as the opportunity to form bonds with other families in similar life stages.
Postpartum Doula
The early postpartum period is a special time. Let us nurture you during those early days so that you can focus on what’s important: recovery and bonding with your baby.
Our Doulas are Newborn Care Specialists and are experts in Lactation Support.
Classes
We believe that education during pregnancy provides the opportunity for positive labor and birth experiences. We offer childbirth education and breastfeeding classes. These classes may be taken from anywhere in the world and in your time zone! Click to see our current offerings.
Lactation
We believe that every family should feel confident in their choices around feeding their child. We offer classes to help facilitate your chest/breast feeding experience.
Placenta Encapsulation
It is believed that placenta encapsulation has multiple benefits for the postpartum woman. PPDA offers encapsulation services.
